Port Townsend

We made our annual trip to Port Townsend to visit Uncle Kent, Paula, Brett, Alec, and Jackie. Port Townsend is a gorgeous spot in northwest Washington with a little bit of everything-- we got in our culture with Shakespeare in the Park (I didn't understand a word), mountains with a hike to the top of Mount Townsend, and beach time all in one weekend.  Plus we got the salmon sandwich from the farmer's market we've been dreaming about since last year. Logan's favorites were the giant yellow snake we met in the park (named Lt. Dan(because he has no legs- Ha!), the fish tank, and throwing things down Uncle Kent's steep stairs.  Apparently he's missing out on a lot of fun because we don't have stairs.

The hike up Mt Townsend with the Olympics in the background.  This was a tough hike.  Luckily Kenny carried Logan for me part way.

More Logan & Kenny at the top

The whole gang on the summit-- Olympics on one side, Cascades on the other

We have about 10 of these pictures with Kenny & I posing on different rocks.  There is a "famous" picture of my Dad on this hike from a few years ago and we were trying to recreate it, but I don't think we ever found the right rock.

The beach with cousins-- Kenny, Alec, Jackie, Brett from L to R. And Logan of course.  He loved the water this year.

The whole gang at the beach.
And how about one more Logan & Kenny picture for good measure.
