Andrew & Maddie's wedding

Look at my baby brother, all grown up!  When he was younger we had some doubts about Andrew's ability to make good choices, but I can't imagine a better choice for the most important decision of his life.  We love Maddie to pieces-- she's a great aunt and sister-in-law, and she keeps Andrew in line so we don't have to :). I'm so excited to have her as part of the family!

We left the kids with Tammy and made a quick trip to St. Thomas for the wedding.  It was so fun to catch up with all of Andrew's friends and meet Maddie's family.  She's a daddy's girl like us and I loved meeting the dad I'd heard so much about. Mark had a fun time doing some investigatory journalism as the wedding videographer... they will have one entertaining wedding video!

Logan's kindergarten graduation

Walking across the "stage"
Logan, Amelie, and  Ms. Kristin. Ms. Kristin has been his teacher for the past 3 years and we love her.
Amelie loves Ms. Rita.  Ama writes cards for Ms. Rita every day.  Sometimes Ms. Rita writes cards back to her, and they usually come with stickers.
The graduate
Logan was super psyched about this yearbook. He ran around the playground getting lots of signatures. Amelie was not so excited for pictures.

Logan was really into this dance his class did. He took it very seriously-- he was counting out the beat the whole time.

The big 4-0

Mark turned 40! We fit in a few birthday celebrations and at least 3 cakes... hopefully we'll get in one more before the year is out.
We spent Mark's birthday at Mike & Janelle's house

Twin climbing at Mark's new crag
We spent the following weekend in Estes Park, and hiked up to Gem Lake.  It was only 3 miles, but lots of elevation gain.  It took us 1.5 hours to get up and only 30 minutes to get down.

Amelie walked all the way up but she got a ride part of the way down
