Our aspen tree is officially still alive! We are pretty proud of ourselves for keeping Logan alive for over 15 months now. But somehow, keeping a tree alive seems harder. They don't cry when they need water, or when the deer are eating them, or when... well, really that's all they need. A fence to keep the deer out and water. And somehow that was too much for us to manage with our first 3 trees. But this one made it.
I love this because I can't keep plants alive either!!

ReplyDeleteIts got literally hundreds of leaves now. Its amazing how quickly it changed. We were checkign it daily, and on Tuesday there was no sign of life, by Wednsday afternoon it had the 10 or so leaves in the photo, and the next day it had hundresds of leaves.
ReplyDeleteOur newly seeded grass is growing too, but you need a magnifying glass to see it.
And yes, it's Dad's tree.
