Logan's First Birthday- Part 1

Zimmermans know that birthdays aren't really just one day. They're best stretched into a birthday weekend, a birthday week, maybe even a birthday month. And of course there's the 1/12th, 1/6th, 1/4th, 1/3rd, 5/12ths, half, 7/12ths, 2/3rds, 3/4ths, 5/6ths, and 11/12th birthdays. But the full birthday is of course the most important.

Logan & I celebrated his birthday, part 1, by staying home and having a snow day. His day started with some good swings and upside down time from Daddy.

We then spent a long time opening and closing doors, investigating cabinets, and pulling magnets off the fridge. We composed a message to thank Grandma, Grandma, and Grandpa for the great gifts:

And then we went outside for a hike in the snow.

When Daddy and Kendall got home, we ate the minimum amount of dinner necessary and then it was time for cake!

And then presents. Despite the great temptation of having unopened presents in the house, we managed to save a few until his actual birthday.

Happy Birthday Logan!
