Monastery

We've been spending a lot of time climbing at the Monastery near Estes Park. Its not ideal for Logan-- and will be impossible as soon as he crawls-- so we're trying to climb there while we still can. Its a long hike in, by our standards, but scenic at least. There have been lots of wildflowers, and you can see Rocky Mountain National Park in the distance.

Logan hanging out in the gully at the base of Mark's project. Typically, I'm standing a few feet away, belaying Mark and singing "I've Been Working on the Railroad" (Logan's favorite song) as energetically as possible to try and distract him from the fact that he's still in the bouncy chair. The Ants Go Marching works sometimes too. And then we reach a point where nothing works.

Logan & me. This is the same day as the picture above, hiking in-- its just a lot colder in the gully.
