Two Months

At two months, Logan has doubled his birth weight and is now a very chubby 12 pounds 4 ounces (25th percentile height, 75th percentile weight). He’s moved into 3-6 month clothes. He can smile, but doesn’t very often—he’s kind of serious. He loves being carried in the Baby Bjorn, and always falls asleep in the carrier or in my arms. We could not live without the Baby Bjorn, or his swing. He sleeps there every night, for 2-3 hour stretches, and falls asleep to the sound of running water (played by the swing). He only gets a bath about once a week because he hates it and screams—although one time he loved it and smiled the whole time. We spend our days going for walks and go to story hour at the library every Wednesday. He’s the youngest baby there, and he tends to sleep or look at the lights in the ceiling most of the time, but its fun for me to see other moms. He likes singing songs—his favorite is the Itsy Bitsy Spider—but he’s not very interested in toys yet. His best friend is Buddy the dog.
