April

This April has been one of the snowiest on record. #20 out of the last 135 years. We got about 3 feet on April 16-17... and as I write this on May 1st it has been snowing all weekend.

All the snow has been mixed with some nice 70 degree days.  At least the snow melts quickly this time of year.
Logan is playing his first season of soccer.  It is really pretty entertaining to watch.  There are multiple games going on next to each other, and none of the kids have much concept of sidelines.  Mobs of kids chase the ball around, and sometimes the mobs from the adjoining game intersect our game and kids just start running into each other and falling over.

Goal! I have discovered that Mark and I will not be able to attend our children's sporting events together.  Mark yells a lot while I try to shush him. As we were driving to the first practice, Mark asked Logan what the most important thing about team sports was.  I said sportsmanship. Mark said being aggressive. Logan's doing a pretty good job at both, though sometimes he runs down the field pointing his hands at the other kids like a gun and making shooting noises.

Ama discovered her old tiger Halloween costume in the closet. This is a size 12 months, but at almost 3 she can still squeeze into it.

We did a girls weekend at Shelf for Sharon's and Janelle's 40th birthdays.
